Same-Day Round-Trip

Those traveling round-trip within the same day qualify for our "Same Day" fare from select locations.

Tickets are void after the last coach of the night (11:00 p.m. from South Station and 10:25 p.m. from Logan Airport) on the day the first half of the ticket is used. Same-day, round-trip tickets must be purchased in person at the terminal on the day of travel ONLY. There are no black-out dates; you can travel on any day, including holidays!

Our same-day fares include:

Commuter Pass

Travel to Boston South Station or Logan Airport frequently? Consider a 10-Ride Commuter Pass.

Our 10-ride commuter pass is perfect for anyone traveling to Boston’s South Station or Logan Airport at least twice a week, on average. This pass provides 10 one-way rides (5 round-trips).

Commuter passes can be purchased at any of our NH locations, Tyngsboro, MA and South Station. Passes are valid for travel to South Station and/or Logan Airport. All commuter passes are for one traveler only. This traveler’s name is imprinted on the ticket at the time of purchase and cannot be used for multiple people traveling in a group.  Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the person whose name is on the ticket.  Commuter passes must be purchased in person at a terminal.

Children’s Fares

Traveling with kids? Children 15 and younger ride free!*


  • *One child aged 15 and under rides free per each adult.
  • Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult passenger purchasing a full-fare ticket (one-way, round-trip or same-day ticket only).
  • Additional children 15 or younger are eligible for a child fare ticket, which is half of the applicable adult fare.
  • Child rides free ticket would not apply when adult is purchasing any of our discounted tickets. This would include commuter passes, monthly passes, student, military and half-fare tickets.
  • Valid only to/from Boston Express locations (Manchester, North Londonderry, Londonderry, Salem, Nashua and Tyngsboro) servicing Boston South Station and Logan Airport.

When traveling with children, you are welcome to store strollers and/or car seats under the bus in the luggage bay for later use in your trip. These items do not count toward your luggage allowance.

Half-Fare Program

Those 65 years of age or older, Medicare cardholders and Persons with Disabilities qualify for the “Half-Fare” Program.

All half-fare discounted tickets must be purchased in person and are not available via our online store.  Half-fare cards are issued to eligible participants and must be presented at the time of ticket purchase, along with a valid ID, in order to receive the discount.

Seniors (65 years of age or older) are not required to fill out the application but will need to present ID when purchasing their ticket to show eligibility.

Medicare cardholders and persons with disabilities are eligible to receive the discounted half-fare rate upon completion of the half-fare eligibility form and receiving their half-fare card from Boston Express. To receive a half-fare eligibility card, print and fill out the Half-Fare Application Form, or you may request an application at any Boston Express terminal.

Student Discount

Show your high school or college student ID and save $5 on a round-trip ticket!

Show a valid non-expired student photo ID card at the time of purchase and you can receive our “Student” fare, available for both South Station and Logan Airport tickets. This discount is $5 off the regular round-trip fare only and would not apply to the same-day round-trip ticket. Student tickets must be purchased in person at a terminal.

Military Discount (Active & Retired)

If you are serving, or have served, in the military – let us know! We thank you for your service and are happy to offer a discount to our military personnel.

To receive your discount, please show proof of service (military identification card, Driver’s license with military logo, DD-214 card) to obtain your “Military” fare ticket. All military discounted tickets must be purchased in person and are not available via our online store. Please note that dependent military cards do not qualify for this fare.

Monthly Pass

Perfect for the commuter who travels to Boston on a daily basis!

Monthly passes are valid for unlimited travel within one calendar month. This pass may be used between both Logan Airport and South Station destinations for added convenience.

Monthly passes are non-transferable and intended for one traveler only whose name is imprinted on the ticket at the time of purchase. Passes are available for purchase 10 days before the month of use and can be purchased at any of our NH locations (Manchester, North Londonderry, Londonderry, Salem and Nashua), as well as Tyngsboro MA. Monthly passes must be purchased in person at a terminal. Monthly passes are not available at the South Station ticket counter.

TO PURCHASE:
Gift Certificates can be purchased in person at our terminals in any of our NH locations (North Londonderry, Londonderry, Salem, Manchester and Nashua) or at our Tyngsboro, MA location. Gift Certificates are not available for purchase at South Station, online or over the phone.

FINE PRINT:
Boston Express Bus Gift Certificates are good indefinitely*, can be for any amount, and can only be used on Boston Express Bus scheduled service (including the schedules operated by Concord Coach Lines for Boston Express). Ticket fares are deducted from the balance on the gift certificate. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. If order exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the recipient must pay the remaining balance. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. The recipient of the gift certificate must travel with a valid form of ID. If the certificate is intended for a child without a form of ID or is between the ages of 8–11 traveling without an adult, then a parent or guardian must be present at the time of ticket issue.
